This unique dual purpose design can be used as a static steel target or you can remove the lock pin and let if fall like a pepper popper. The innovative four point stance elevates the center of the stand so the weight is supported by the outer contact points. This reduces wobble and provides stability on uneven terrain. The stand legs are notched for staking if extra stability is needed (stakes not included). Pivot Stand and Head Assembly accept standard wood 2×4 posts that can be cut to your desired length and changed out in seconds without any tools. The target plates are laser cut to reduce heat and preserve the hardness of the AR500 steel. Our Head Assembly uses high strength carriage bolts and heavy die springs rather than welds for mounting. This allows the target plates to be reversed which increases their life and helps keep the shooting surface flat and smooth. The wood post and target plate lean forward at a 30 degree angle to deflect bullet splatter safely to the ground.

This is a target I was wanting to purchase for sometime.I have been using this for 3 months now and love how easy it is to set-up, and the way it can be used for a standing target or to fall-back when hit.I have used everything from AR, AK, 30-30 and +P 45 ACP rounds on this steel target and it is holding up to all the punishment thus far.I will be looking to purchase a couple more of these targets in the future to have even more fun!

I have 5 steel Challenger Targets.Use them at 10 to 15 yards in self-defense drills.Easy assembly, setup, and maintenance.Screwdriver, wrench, 2×4, and saw is all that you need for a quick 10 minute assembly.Adjustable target angles fragments into the dirt in front of the target.Challenger Target customer service has been great.

Great quality product and construction by Challenge Targets.The owner, Brad, is very helpful to answer questions on the phone.I immediately painted the target black when I received it before shooting.High quality construction and laser cut makes this a great target.I love how easy it is to move around with the 2×4.Easy to throw in the back of your truck/car and take with you to shoot since it breaks down into 3 pieces very easily.I shot this target the first weekend with 9 mm suppressed and could only hear the ding of the steel.
