This is our most challenging moving target yet! With three independently rotating axes, it’s impossible to predict the path of these targets. The 8″ plates are held in place with the same spring retention system used on our proven Texas Star platform. When shot, the plates are released from the retention pocket and fall to the ground. The change in weight distribution causes the crossbar and plates to rotate. The precision machined shaft and pillow bearings maximize the speed and change of direction with each successful shot on the plates.
By adding the optional Spindle Lock Kit, you’ll be able to independently lock each of the three spindles! This is a must-have feature for newer shooters who might otherwise be intimidated by this target. This option is also great for match directors who are looking to create new and interesting stage designs!
After initial assembly, the Propeller Target is transported in four sections with the heaviest component weighing only 49 lbs. Setting up the target is simple and requires only three bolts to complete the assembly in the field. Resetting the target is quick and simple. Just lift the spring and insert the stem of the plate into the pocket. One person can reset all six plates in about 1 minute.
The PROPELLER is our “spin” on a competition target commonly known as an Irish Plate Rack. These target systems have been used in 3-Gun and USPSA matches for years but also have applications in tactical and law enforcement training. This system satisfies many agency’s requirement for training on moving targets.

MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS LOVE TO SHOOT STEEL. WE HAVE A DUELING TREE BUT THIS PRODUCT TAKES IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL. EASY TO ASSEMBLE. IT TOOK TWO OF US ABOUT ONE HOUR. SHOT ABOUT 500 ROUNDS AT IT SO FAR. NO ISSUES. PRICEY, BUT WORTH IT.

I have been shooting steel at the range for the last few years and shoot about 200 rounds a month.I was looking for more of a challenge. This was exactly what I wanted and needed.I started out using my 22 just to see if it could knock the plates off.It could not, I kind of expected that it would not.The 380 and 9mm had no problems.I went through around a 100 rounds and was having the time of my life when I was told by the range officer that I was not aloud to bring my own steel to the range (even though I was in the steel pit that is for one person with 10 foot high berms. So before you buy a target like this make sure to check with your range master to see if it is allowed. For me that target is amazing and is the future of pistol shooting sports. It comes apart in 4 decent peaces and can be set up in less that 5 minutes. It was really easy to assemble, the instructions were easy to follow just need a basic socket set and some wrenches. If you want to increase your shooting skill this is defiantly the target for you..

I shoot recreationally and used to just shoot single gong style targets, old jugs, scrap metal etc. I finally decided to step it up and got the Propeller Texas Star. It’s been a ton of fun to shoot and I think it has genuinely made me a better shooter. I probably spend twice as much time shooting during a range session now than I did with just static targets. The spinning targets are way more challenging and way more fun. I was also impressed by the target’s build quality. Everything fits together seamlessly, and after more than a year of use, it has held up remarkably well. The plates are durable, and despite not repainting them after every session, there is still no rust or pitting to be found. Additionally, it’s easy to transport; it only takes three screws to set up and take down, and it fits perfectly in the back of my SUV. I would definitely recommend this target and Challenge Targets overall.
