This unique dual purpose design can be used as a static steel target or you can remove the lock pin and let if fall like a pepper popper. The innovative four point stance elevates the center of the stand so the weight is supported by the outer contact points. This reduces wobble and provides stability on uneven terrain. The stand legs are notched for staking if extra stability is needed (stakes not included). Pivot Stand and Head Assembly accept standard wood 2×4 posts that can be cut to your desired length and changed out in seconds without any tools. The target plates are laser cut to reduce heat and preserve the hardness of the AR500 steel. Our Head Assembly uses high strength carriage bolts and heavy die springs rather than welds for mounting. This allows the target plates to be reversed which increases their life and helps keep the shooting surface flat and smooth. The wood post and target plate lean forward at a 30 degree angle to deflect bullet splatter safely to the ground.

This target system is well designed, easy to set up, safe,very durable and a great value.I use with my Glock 23 40 cal.S&W..Will buy this product again.No negatives with this target system.

If you love shooting steel this is the target for you!I love how you can trade out plates for rifle and pistol.I cant wait to try my popper plate tomorrow!

Was nervous ordering steel pivot stand, for I was not sure about it.After great communication from the company and much research, I purchased.Long story short, it is everything and more than I expected.Quality is top notch and function is superb.Highly recommend.

I bought one several months ago.Due to eye surgery I was not able to go shooting for a while. (so I was buying guns,ammo,and targets of course!) I went to the range Monday and set up the challenge target.What a good deal.Everyone there loved it.It did take some abuse to the wood, but that was the rangemaster shooting low.LOL.For the money you cant get much better fun than this.Not a dent or ding on the plate.We shot it with .22 , thru .45 ACP I just ordered another.
