Our IPSC “A” Zone Flapper Target is built to take a beating and keep coming back for more. All hinge brackets are laser cut from abrasive resistant, through hardened, AR500 steel. Designed without welds, all plates and components are reversible to maximize their useful life. The outer plate size matches an official IPSC or USPSA target with the “D” zone removed. Shoot through the 4″x7″ opening and you’ll hear a distinctive ring as the paddle bounces back for positive hit detection. Ideal for handgun, rifle and shotgun training and competition.

Have quite a few rounds on this target and there have been absolutely no issues. The flapper is robust, and you are rewarded with a satisfying ring when you hit it. The design allows you to flip both plates to extend the life of the target.

This is a great system for handgun training, the value of the differentiating feedbacl is enormous.It is clearly audible at any reasonable pistol range, and the harmonic is highly distinguishable.The only drawback, and it’s minor and a realistic limitation, is that the “tuning forks” which make the harmonic sound will eventually break off after you smack the “A” zone enough times with 10mm or 357Sig.In it’s defense, this does not happen right away and requires many 100s of hits.
