Description

This complete target package combines our 8″ x 16″ Reduced USPSA 3/8″ AR500 steel target plate with the Challenge Targets Crane™ T-Post Hook Mount. The Crane’s free-hanging design allows the target plate to move and resonate when struck, providing excellent visual feedback and a loud, distinctive ring.

The mount sleeve is laser cut from heavy-wall round steel tubing and engages the T-Post approximately 3 inches deep, preventing the mount from lifting off the post during use. The round profile and carefully engineered slot geometry allow the mount to slide over T-Posts even when the top edges are deformed. Unlike many competing designs, there’s no need to grind or file the top of the T-Post before installing the mount.

The replaceable hook is manufactured from 3/8″ AR500 steel and is secured with a quick-release snap pin. If the hook is ever damaged, it can be replaced in seconds without replacing the entire mount. The weld-free construction eliminates a common failure point found in other designs, resulting in greater long-term durability.

The hook incorporates an integral stop that allows the target plate to move freely when struck while limiting excessive rearward travel. This helps prevent the plate from contacting the T-Post and reduces the potential for unpredictable secondary splashback.

The T-Post Mount features a durable black powder coat finish that provides long-lasting corrosion resistance and a professional appearance.

When disassembled, the mount breaks down into a compact, low-profile package that fits easily into a range bag or allows multiple mounts to be transported using minimal space.
