Description

The Challenge Targets Crane™ T-Post Hook Mount provides a durable and economical solution for mounting slotted AR500 steel target plates. Its free-hanging hook design allows the target plate to move and resonate when struck, producing excellent visual feedback and a loud, distinctive ring.

The mount sleeve is laser cut from heavy-wall round steel tubing and engages the T-Post approximately 3 inches deep, preventing the mount from lifting off the post during use. The round profile and carefully engineered slot geometry allow the mount to slide over T-Posts even when the top edges are deformed. Unlike many competing designs, there’s no need to grind or file the top of the T-Post before installing the mount.

The replaceable hook is manufactured from 3/8″ AR500 steel and is secured with a quick-release snap pin. If the hook is ever damaged, it can be replaced in seconds without replacing the entire mount. The weld-free construction eliminates a common failure point found in other designs, resulting in greater long-term durability.

The hook incorporates an integral stop that limits rearward target movement. This helps prevent bullet fragments from striking the T-Post, reducing unpredictable bullet splash.

The T-Post Mount features a durable black powder coat finish that provides long-lasting corrosion resistance and a professional appearance.

When disassembled, the mount breaks down into a compact, low-profile package that fits easily into a range bag or allows multiple mounts to be transported using minimal space.
